The .CXP file extension is most frequently associated with Omron CX-Programmer, a core component of the Omron CX-One suite used for programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). These files contain the ladder logic, mnemonics, symbol tables, and I/O settings required to automate industrial machinery. A secondary but significant use is within the woodworking industry as a Cabinet Vision design file, storing 3D layouts and cutlists for manufacturing.
