Extract text from SMath and StepMania files (SM)

A .sm file primarily functions as a mathematical calculation worksheet or a rhythm game stepchart. SMath Studio uses these files to store equations, matrices, and graphs in a UTF-8 text format. You can natively open these mathematical documents using SMath Studio. Alternatively, players use .sm files in StepMania to store arrow timing data, BPM changes, and step placements for custom songs.
The main drawback of the .sm format is its strict dependency on specialized software. You cannot view a SMath document or play a StepMania chart in standard operating system viewers or web browsers. Sharing a mathematical .sm file with a client forces them to install a dedicated program just to read your equations. Additionally, StepMania .sm files rely on fragile syntax formatting. A single missing semicolon or misplaced bracket during a manual text edit will instantly corrupt the file and crash the game engine.
To bypass these strict compatibility barriers, you must convert the file based on your goals. For archiving and universal sharing, convert SMath worksheets to PDF or HTML. This locks the mathematical formatting so anyone can view it. For editing StepMania game data, convert the file to TXT, XML, or SSC to safely parse the timing logic.
