The .NBF file extension primarily represents a Nokia Backup File, created by the discontinued Nokia PC Suite. It stores a complete backup of legacy Nokia mobile phones running Symbian OS, including contacts, SMS messages, calendar entries, and media files. Alternatively, it is used as a system backup file by older PC software like Acer Recovery Management, Nero BackItUp, or Norton Ghost.
