Extract text from PRS files

The .PRS extension is a multi-purpose container primarily associated with Yamaha Keyboard Styles and legacy Harvard Graphics Presentations.
1. Yamaha Keyboard Style Files: These files contain MIDI-based accompaniment data (rhythms, basslines, and orchestration) used by Yamaha digital workstations. Users often need to convert these because they are proprietary binary formats that standard media players cannot execute. To edit the musical content in a DAW like Cubase or Logic Pro, users typically convert them to standard MID (MIDI) files. In some cases, simply renaming the extension to STY allows other Yamaha software to recognize them.
2. Harvard Graphics Presentations: In the 1990s, .PRS was the native format for Harvard Graphics, a pioneer in presentation software. Today, these files are problematic because modern suites like Microsoft PowerPoint have dropped support for these legacy formats, locking users out of their historical data. 3. Other Technical Uses: The format is also used for CorelDRAW print styles, SigmaNEST CAD parts, and ProxyCap rule sets. Due to this ambiguity, simply double-clicking a .PRS file rarely works; identifying the specific origin is critical before attempting conversion.
