Extract text from Boomplay and Blueprint files (BP)

The .bp file extension is highly fragmented and used by several completely unrelated applications. Most commonly, it functions as an encrypted music track from the Boomplay music streaming service or as a spacecraft blueprint in the Spaceflight Simulator game. It is also used as a Business Process definition file (zipped XML) in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and as an SQLite database backup in the Beyond Pad software.
The primary disadvantage of the Boomplay .bp format is strict Digital Rights Management (DRM). These files are locked to the Boomplay application and will not play in standard audio players. Game blueprints are typically proprietary JSON or plain text files, remaining useless outside their specific game engine. IBM's BP files are simply ZIP archives containing XML data, but they require heavy enterprise software to view and deploy.
To overcome these limits, you must extract or convert the data based on its source. If your .bp is an IBM or Beyond Pad file, convert it to XML or SQLITE for broad data compatibility. Spaceflight Simulator blueprints can be edited safely if converted to standard JSON or TXT. Note that converting Boomplay audio directly to MP3 or WAV is actively blocked by DRM encryption, but you can analyze the file to confirm its structure.
