Extract text from BizInt and BarahaPad files (BPD)

The .bpd file extension is highly fragmented and used by several different software applications. Most commonly, it is a Patent and Intelligence Report generated by BizInt Smart Charts. In this context, it uses a standard ZIP container to store chart data. The second most common use is a BarahaPad Document, an RTF-based file used by the Baraha software for Indian language word processing. Other frequent uses include Business Plan Pro data files, Autodesk MEP building databases, and Bystronic laser cutting data.
The main disadvantage of the .bpd format is this extreme fragmentation. Without the specific parent software, you cannot easily know what data is inside. Most .bpd files are locked into their proprietary ecosystems. For example, Business Plan Pro files require a paid license to open, and BizInt charts cannot be viewed natively in a web browser. Sharing these files with external stakeholders is often impossible unless they have the exact same software installed.
To make the data accessible, you should convert .bpd files to standard formats. BarahaPad documents should be exported to PDF or DOCX. BizInt reports are best converted to CSV or XLSX for spreadsheet analysis, or extracted as ZIP files.
Standard online converters fail to process .bpd files because they cannot guess which of the ten different file types they are dealing with. Furthermore, proprietary CAD or business plan files do not publish their internal specifications.
