Most frequently, a .TB file is a Robot Task Builder project associated with industrial automation platforms like Omron ACE or OnRobot Teach Pendant tools. These files encapsulate robotic logic, coordinate waypoints, and instruction sets. The main drawback here is proprietary lock-in: these binary files often require expensive, licensed engineering software to open, making it impossible for project managers or clients to view the workflow logic without a conversion tool or a PDF export.
