Extract text from WhatsApp identifiers (DATABASE_UUID)

The .database_uuid file is an internal system identifier used primarily by WhatsApp for Android. It contains a unique alphanumeric string (UUID) that the application uses to link local chat databases to cloud backups on Google Drive. In rare cases, the Android operating system also generates this file as a stale thumbnail identifier for caching purposes.
Users typically encounter this file when attempting to manually back up, migrate, or recover their chat history via USB transfer. The major disadvantage of the .database_uuid format is its strict proprietary nature. It is not designed to be opened by human users, lacks a default viewing application on PC or Mac, and causes massive confusion because users mistakenly believe it contains their actual chat messages.
To view the internal identifier string, you must extract its contents. For basic viewing and documentation, convert the file to TXT. If you are building a custom backup script or using forensic recovery tools, convert it to JSON or XML for easy parsing. Note that converting this file will not reveal your chat history; you need the accompanying CRYPT14 or .CRYPT15 database files for that.
