About RCC files

The .rcc extension most frequently identifies an electronic tax receipt ('Ricevuta') generated by the Agenzia delle Entrate (Italian Revenue Agency). These files contain authenticated confirmation of tax filings and payments. The primary challenge for users is that .rcc files are not human-readable documents; they are structured data files encrypted or formatted specifically for the Desktop Telematico or Entratel software. Users often find themselves unable to open these files with standard PDF viewers or word processors, requiring a conversion to PDF for archiving, printing, or sharing with accountants.

Secondarily, .rcc files may be binary resource files created by the Qt Resource Compiler for the Qt Framework.
