A .PIT file is primarily a Partition Information Table used by Samsung Android devices. These system files contain vital configuration data that dictates how the smartphone's internal storage is partitioned during firmware flashing. Another frequent use for the .PIT extension is the Polish tax declaration file created by the e-pity Płatnik software, and occasionally, it represents a CardPresso ID card template.
