The .LPC file extension is primarily used for three highly specialized purposes. It functions as a game asset data package for the Ubisoft LyN game engine, a laser parameter control file (or laser power curve) for TRUMPF TruMicro laser systems, or a project file for the GHL Light Composer software. These files contain proprietary data, ranging from compiled 3D meshes and textures for video games to industrial laser calibration settings and aquarium lighting schedules.
Because these formats are strictly proprietary, they are difficult to manage. You cannot open them with standard web browsers or generic file viewers. The game asset versions are closed archives, designed to prevent user extraction. The TRUMPF files require specialized industrial software like the TruTops Laser Programming Station, which is expensive and restricted to manufacturing environments.
