About ITC files
The .ITC file extension is most commonly an iTunes Artwork Cache file. Apple iTunes generates these files to store album cover art for its interface. Alternatively, it can be an Isothermal Titration Calorimetry data file used by Malvern Panalytical MicroCal instruments, a satellite receiver channel list for ALI Corp set-top boxes, or an Inxmail Professional email newsletter template. The primary disadvantage of the Apple cache format is that it is strictly proprietary. It locks your artwork inside the Apple ecosystem and requires the iTunes software to process. You cannot open these files with standard web browsers or image viewers. Users typically need to convert .ITC files to standard JPG or PNG formats to use the images elsewhere. However, this file format is difficult to open or convert because the data is heavily embedded in a closed system. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the data. Standard online converters fail to process it. Our platform will inspect the file and show its internal content. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, like the ZIP structure used in Inxmail templates, viewing or conversion may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your ITC file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert ITC file to UTC, TMP, TEMP, CACHE, LOG, BAK, OLD, NEW, PART, DOWNLOAD, CRDOWNLOAD or LOCK, you can use Apple iTunes or similar software from the "Album Artwork Cache Storage" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert DEVICE, CACHE, SOCK, SYMLINK, PID, MOUNT, FIFO, LOG, PIPE, TMP, JUNCTION or TEMP files to ITC, try Apple iTunes or another comparable tool in the "Album Artwork Cache Storage" category.
The ITC Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our ITC converter.
