DPT files are most frequently Data Point Tables used in scientific research, specifically for FTIR spectroscopy. Generated by laboratory instruments running software like Bruker OPUS or PerkinElmer Spectrum, these files contain raw spectral data points (typically wavenumber vs. absorbance/intensity) essential for chemical analysis.
