About CLG files
The .CLG extension primarily refers to Change Log files generated by legacy project management software like Oracle Primavera P3. These files record the history of edits, scheduling updates, and database changes within a project. While vital for auditing past workflows, the proprietary nature of the legacy P3 format makes these files difficult to open on modern systems without specialized viewers or obsolete software. Users frequently need to convert these logs into standard TXT or PDF documents to preserve data integrity and ensure readability for compliance or archiving purposes.
Alternatively, a .CLG file may be a Collage Project File created by various photo editing tools (often based on Fabric.js). In this context, the file contains JSON data describing image positions, layers, and effects - it is not a viewable image itself. Sharing this file with friends or clients will result in an error, as they lack the specific software to render the project. To share the visual result, users must convert the source project into a universal raster format like JPG or PNG.
Convert.Guru analyzes your CLG file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
Users also converted TXT, JPG, ENC, XLSX, BIN, CRDOWNLOAD, DMP, IPT, SPV, RPT, APK, CFG and PNG files.
The CLG Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our CLG converter.
