About XRP files

The .XRP extension typically refers to an Infragistics ReportPlus report package, a business intelligence file used to store dashboards, data visualizations, and configuration settings. These files are essentially compressed ZIP archives containing XML data and assets, designed to be opened exclusively by the ReportPlus suite. Users frequently encounter friction because .XRP files are proprietary; they cannot be viewed in standard office software like Excel or web browsers without conversion. A secondary but common use is the RationalPlan Project File by Stand By Soft. These contain project management data like Gantt charts, resource allocations, and budgets. Opening them requires the specific RationalPlan viewer or paid software.

For most users, the goal is to extract the data or view the visual report.

Convert.Guru analyzes your XRP file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted XPS, PDF, MBSA, FHR, BQY, BTC, ZAR and XLM files.

The XRP Converter Story

The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our XRP converter.
