About XIM files

The .XIM file extension represents a diverse set of proprietary data formats, most notably associated with Varian Medical Systems for radiotherapy imaging. These medical files contain high-resolution X-ray or portal images generated during cancer treatments. The Problem: Varian XIM files are strictly proprietary and lack native support on standard operating systems like Windows or macOS. They cannot be opened by common viewers like Microsoft Photos or Adobe Photoshop, making it difficult for researchers and clinicians to access image data outside of expensive Varian Eclipse workstations. Additionally, the format may utilize custom compression (RLE) that confuses generic image decoders.

The Solution:

Use Convert.Guru to open and convert your XIM file.

Users also converted PDF, WEB, MCW and TLV files.
