About RS files

The .RS extension represents two distinct file types that create very different challenges for users. The most common is a Rust Source Code file, written in the Rust programming language. While these files are technically plain text, they are useless to non-developers in their raw form. You cannot simply "run" a .RS file like an application; it requires a complex development environment and the Rust Compiler (rustc) to turn it into an executable.
