The .PXO file extension is most frequently associated with Pixelorama, a free and open-source pixel art editor created by Orama Interactive. These files serve as the master project containers for 2D sprites, animations, and tilesets. Alternatively, .PXO files can represent Music World project files, Pixellab pixel art projects, or even compiled game scripts for titles like Star Stable Online. Because .PXO is a proprietary project format rather than a standard image, it presents significant usability challenges. You cannot preview these files in standard web browsers, default OS image viewers, or upload them directly to social media.
