The .PSARC file is a PlayStation Archive container. It is primarily used to store compressed game resources, such as 3D models, textures, and audio tracks, for games on Sony PlayStation consoles and specific PC ports like Rocksmith 2014.
This format comes with significant disadvantages for standard PC users. It is a proprietary, closed container format. Files often exceed several gigabytes in size and cannot be natively opened by Windows, macOS, or standard web browsers.
