About PRW files

A .PRW file is almost always a proprietary project file, most commonly generated by Compusoft Winner Design (now Cyncly) for kitchen and bathroom layouts, or Schneider Electric ProWorx for industrial PLC automation.

1. Winner Design Project (Kitchens)

For homeowners and designers, this file contains the complete 3D room data, cabinet specifications, and pricing. Constraints: It is not an image file. You cannot open it in a web browser, Adobe Reader, or standard CAD tools like AutoCAD.

2. ProWorx PLC Project (Industrial)

In industrial settings, a .PRW file contains the ladder logic and configuration for Modicon PLCs. It is strictly for development and requires the licensed ProWorx 32 or ProWorx NxT software to view or edit logic.

3. Artlantis Shader Preview

Less commonly, it may be a small shader preview file used by Artlantis.
