About PPL files

A .ppl file is primarily known as a PixelLab Project file, a layered graphic design format created by the PixelLab mobile application. These files act as containers (internally often ZIP archives) that store text layers, stickers, image assets, and styling effects used to create social media posts, memes, and branding materials on Android devices. While widely popular for mobile design, the format is proprietary and difficult to view on desktop computers without specific emulation or conversion tools.

Users frequently need to convert .ppl files to standard image formats like JPG or PNG for publishing, or to PDF for printing. A common workflow involves converting .ppl to PSD (Adobe Photoshop) to continue editing complex layers on a desktop environment. Note that .ppl is sometimes used interchangeably with plp for PixelLab projects. Less commonly, a .ppl file may be a Free Pascal dynamic library or an embroidery design file from Pulse Microsystems. Always check the file source to confirm its purpose before attempting conversion.

Convert.Guru analyzes your PPL file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted PLP, PNG, 7Z, POD, HPRJ and SONG files.
