About OFT files

Open Form Template (OFT) files are Microsoft Outlook templates used to create emails and other documents. They are created in Outlook, and can be used to quickly create and send emails with the same formatting, layout, and content. Oft files are not compatible with other email clients, and can only be opened in Outlook. They can be converted to other formats, such as HTML, MHTML, and PDF, using software such as Microsoft Outlook and HTML-XML-utils. However, conversion can be challenging due to the complexity of the content and formatting of the OFT files. In addition, the converted files may not be as visually appealing as the original OFT files. For these reasons, it is recommended to use Convert.Guru to convert OFT files, as it is free and easy to use.

The OFT Converter Story

The history of Convert.Guru began more than 25 years ago in California, when Tom Simondi published the most comprehensive database of file formats on his website. Before that, Tom had worked on Space Shuttle development at the Air Force Systems Command’s Space Division in Los Angeles. He is known as one of the top programmers of the late 1980s.

When Microsoft integrated Tom’s Filext database into Windows XP, it became the leading platform for analyzing and processing file types and formats.

Today, we use the latest technologies to analyze, process, and convert one of the world's largest collections of file formats. We are committed to developing the best OFT converter by continuously improving quality, usability, and reliability.
