The .MOHO file is a 2D animation project created by Moho Pro (formerly Anime Studio, previously managed by Smith Micro). It stores vector animations, bone rigging data, keyframe timelines, and file path references to external image or audio assets. Under the hood, these files are structurally ZIP archives containing formatted JSON data.
The major disadvantage of a .MOHO file is its strictly proprietary nature. You cannot view it natively in a web browser or standard media player. Opening the file requires a paid, active software license to render the vector math into playable video.
