About LRTEMPLATE files
An .lrtemplate file stores saved image adjustment settings, commonly known as a develop preset, for older versions of Adobe Lightroom. Photographers use these files to apply consistent color grading, exposure correction, and tone curves across multiple images. You can manage these files using Adobe Lightroom Classic. However, this format is heavily outdated. Since April 2018, Adobe transitioned to the universal XMP format for all presets. The major disadvantage of the .lrtemplate format is its lack of cross-compatibility. You cannot use it directly in Adobe Camera Raw, and it does not sync directly to mobile versions of Lightroom without prior conversion on a desktop computer. The best conversion target is XMP to ensure compatibility with modern Adobe software ecosystems. Alternatively, converting it to XML or TXT allows you to read the raw parameter values and text-based slider data. Because this is a specialized, proprietary application settings file, standard online image converters fail to process it entirely.
