This compression is specifically designed to facilitate sharing designs between macOS, Windows, and iOS/iPadOS devices without losing linked assets.
The real problem with .LHZD files is their proprietary nature. While the container is a standard archive, the internal data structure is locked to the Live Home 3D ecosystem. You cannot natively open these files in professional CAD tools like AutoCAD or widely used modelers like Blender without first exporting them using the original software.
