Convert DT to another file type

Convert a file to DT
To convert other file formats to the "Database Backup File" file type, you need software like 1C:Enterprise or a similar tool.
About DT files
The .DT file extension is most commonly a proprietary database dump file generated by the 1C:Enterprise accounting and business management platform. It acts as a full backup of an entire infobase. Secondary uses include document templates for Microsoft Word or LibreOffice, and serialized game options data for the RPG Maker engine.
Users often attempt to convert .DT files because they want to migrate their accounting data or view records without paying for expensive software licenses. The disadvantage of the 1C:Enterprise .DT format is that it is a heavily compressed, closed, and proprietary container. Files often exceed gigabytes in size and cannot be read by standard database browsers. You cannot just open them in a spreadsheet. When migrating data, the ideal target formats are SQL, CSV, or XML. If your file is a document template, you will want to convert it to a modern DOCX or PDF.
Because the 1C database structure is tightly controlled, standard online converters fail to process it. Only the original software can reliably export the data tables. If our analysis detects a supported embedded format - like a standard ZIP-based template or an SQLite table - viewing or conversion may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your DT file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert DT file to MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, FLV, WEBM, MKV, M4V, 3GP, OGV, ASF or RM, you can use 1C:Enterprise or similar software from the "Database Backup and Migration" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert MTS, MOV, RMVB, DIVX, RM, H264, TS, WMV, VOB, MP4, XVID or AVI files to DT, try 1C:Enterprise or another comparable tool in the "Database Backup and Migration" category.
The DT Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our DT converter.
