.DRMZ files are highly secure, DRM-protected documents utilized to distribute high-value digital content, such as corporate reports, paid training courses, and premium research. The vast majority of these files are generated by LockLizard Safeguard DRM and require the proprietary Safeguard Secure Viewer to open. A smaller fraction consists of Drumlin Fully Secure Mobile PDFs, which are read using Drumlin Security's Javelin PDF Reader.
Users frequently attempt to convert .DRMZ files because the format is intentionally restrictive.
