The .CSMO file extension primarily serves as a backup or export format for the Class Schedule application. These files store academic timetables, task lists, and class data utilizing a structured JSON format. A secondary, less common application of the .CSMO extension is for 3D objects created in Clip Studio Modeler, a software developed by Celsys.
Users frequently need to convert .CSMO files because they are heavily restricted by their native software ecosystems. The Class Schedule app traps your timetable data within mobile devices, making it difficult to analyze or print the data on a desktop without external tools. Similarly, Clip Studio Modeler files utilize a proprietary SQL database structure that is actively blocked from being imported into standard 3D software like Blender or Autodesk Maya.
For schedule data, we recommend converting to JSON, CSV, or PDF to allow for easy spreadsheet viewing and printing. For 3D objects, exporting to standard OBJ or FBX formats directly from the native software is required to maintain the 3D geometry and UV mapping.
