The .CME file format is primarily used for exported security video evidence by Genetec Security Center and March Networks CCTV systems. A smaller subset of .CME files are mind map documents created by ConceptDraw MINDMAP or Metamoji Note.
Proprietary CCTV video wrappers are notoriously difficult to manage. They bundle raw video data with custom metadata (like timestamps and camera IDs) into a proprietary container that typically requires a standalone CME Viewer to open.
