About ZRP files

The .ZRP extension is a classic example of a filename collision, serving three distinct, incompatible purposes. Most commonly (25%), it is a Zoner Photo Studio Replay file. This is not a standard image but a proprietary project container - internally a ZIP archive - that holds the original photo alongside a history of non-destructive edits. You cannot upload this to the web or open it in Photoshop. To get a usable image, you must open it in Zoner Photo Studio X and export to JPG or TIFF. In scientific contexts (21%), a .ZRP file contains surface topography data generated by Zygo interferometers. These are high-precision measurement files used by MetroPro software, often requiring conversion to CSV or TXT for analysis in Excel. Finally, digital sculptors use .ZRP as a Render Preset in ZBrush to save Best Preview Render (BPR) settings.

Convert.Guru analyzes your ZRP file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted JPG, EPL2, EPL and DPL files.

The ZRP Converter Story

The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our ZRP converter.
