A .XAR file typically functions as a proprietary vector graphics project created by Xara Designer Pro (formerly Xara Xtreme). Alternatively, the extension is widely used as an eXtensible ARchive, natively utilized for macOS software installations, XWiki exports, and even as a Microsoft Excel AutoRecover backup file. Users encounter significant roadblocks because Xara's vector format is highly proprietary.
