About VGX files

A .vgx file is a "black box" format that typically falls into one of two incompatible categories, creating significant confusion for users.

1. Vectorworks Graphics Scene (Most Common):
This is a read-only 3D container generated by Vectorworks CAD software. It is strictly an export format designed to be uploaded to Vectorworks Cloud Services for viewing on the web or the Nomad mobile app.

2. Thermo Scientific Spectroscopy Data:
These are scientific data files used by Thermo Scientific Avantage software for X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) analysis.

Convert.Guru analyzes your VGX file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted VGD, VWX, UPL, EVE and BDC files.
