About USZ files

A .usz file is a proprietary archive format used by OpenText LoadRunner (formerly Micro Focus) to package Virtual User (Vuser) scripts. Beneath the proprietary extension, it is essentially a standard ZIP container holding C source code (vuser_init.c, Action.c), parameter files, and runtime settings needed for performance testing.

A common problem with .usz files is their opacity; without LoadRunner installed - a heavy, enterprise-grade suite - you cannot natively view or edit the script logic. Operating systems do not recognize the extension by default, leaving users unable to inspect the code inside without manual intervention.

For immediate access, the most pragmatic approach is treating the file as a ZIP archive to extract its contents.

Convert.Guru analyzes your USZ file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted LRR, WAD and DOI files.
