Extract text from TSI files

To convert other file formats to the "Controller Mapping" file type, you need software like Traktor Pro or a similar tool.
TSI files serve two distinct technical purposes that often confuse users.
Most commonly, a .TSI file is a configuration container used by Traktor Pro, the industry-standard DJ software by Native Instruments. These files store crucial MIDI mappings, audio routing preferences, and controller layouts. While they are technically structured as XML, they are heavily customized and often encrypted or obfuscated, making them useless outside the Traktor environment. DJ professionals often struggle here: sharing custom controller mappings is difficult because a .TSI file often overwrites existing user preferences when imported, rather than merging intelligently. Furthermore, you cannot natively view the mapping logic (e.g., "Button A = Play") without loading the entire file into the software, risking your current setup. To inspect these settings safely or archive configurations, users often convert .TSI to standard XML or TXT to view the raw data structure in a text editor.
Alternatively, if you found a .TSI file in your Discord directory, it is a telemetry data file containing voice chat diagnostics. These are generally binary or obscure text logs used by the application for debugging connection quality. They offer zero utility to the end-user and cannot be opened by standard media players. For curiosity or debugging purposes, converting these logs to TXT allows you to view the raw alphanumeric strings, though they are rarely meant for human consumption.
