Extract text from Team data and calculation files (TED)

A .ted file primarily functions as a Team Data file for Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) and eFootball. Developed by Konami, these files are generated via the game's edit mode. Gamers share them to distribute custom rosters, team names, and kit designs. A secondary, highly technical use is found in Trimble Tedds, which uses the .ted format to store complex structural analysis documents based on XML. Rarely, it acts as a map file in older games like Star Wars: Empire at War.
The main disadvantage of the .ted format is its heavily restricted, proprietary nature. For PES players, files are strictly locked to specific game versions or Data Packs. Attempting to open them outside the game reveals only unreadable binary code. For structural engineers, Trimble Tedds files require a costly software subscription to render properly. While the underlying data is XML, standard text editors will only display dense, unformatted markup, making formulas impossible to read normally.
Direct conversion to standard formats like PDF or DOCX is difficult because the files rely on the parent software to interpret the data correctly. Standard online converters fail because they lack the specific rendering engines of Konami or Trimble. Often, only the original application can properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects the XML structure of a Trimble document or embedded text within a game file, viewing or conversion to TXT or XML may still be possible, allowing you to recover critical raw data.
