The .FDC extension is heavily fragmented. It is primarily used for game animation and camera data in titles powered by the Fox Engine (like Pro Evolution Soccer) and Capcom's MT Framework. It is also widely used as an electronic form document created by FormDocs, storing structured form data and layouts. Other rare uses include medical software command files for Cerner PowerChart, Unity game asset bundles (UnityFS), and Brazilian government financial reports.
These files are strictly proprietary. An .FDC game data file is unreadable outside of the specific game engine that created it. FormDocs files require the native, paid software to view or edit. Furthermore, game data files lack public documentation, making them practically inaccessible for modders or general users.
If it is a FormDocs file, the best conversion target is PDF to ensure visual layout preservation, but this requires the original software and form editability will be lost. Game engine .FDC files are typically not convertible to standard 3D formats like FBX or OBJ without specialized, reverse-engineered modding tools.
