About TDD files

A .tdd file is a distinct format often associated with legacy CD/DVD label design software like TDT RadPublisher or data export modules within suites like Roxio Creator. These files store layout information, track listings, and graphical assets intended for printing directly onto optical media.

A key limitation of .tdd files is their extreme fragmentation. A user might possess a label design, but the file extension is also actively used by HP D300 and Tecan digital dispensers for liquid handling protocols (XML-based), Guntram's Tablet Weaving Thingy for textile drafts, and T-FLEX CAD for technical documentation. This ambiguity makes opening the file a guessing game. Most .tdd files are proprietary and incompatible with modern standard viewers like browsers or mobile OS previewers.

For label designs and CAD drawings, the pragmatic solution is converting to PDF for reliable viewing and printing, or JPG/PNG for quick digital sharing. For XML-based Tecan files, converting to TXT or CSV allows for human-readable data analysis.

Convert.Guru analyzes your TDD file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted TMF, ISO, BDM and BDD files.
