About SVT files
The .SVT file extension is highly fragmented and used by several completely unrelated systems. In most enterprise environments, it functions as an E-Signature Certificate Store Database utilized by the Turkish AKIS (Akıllı Kart İşletim Sistemi) smart card system. Under the hood, this specific variant is formatted as a standard SQLite database. Alternatively, an .SVT file might be a JSON project file for Sovit3D and Sovit2D data visualization software, a Revit Shared View Template created by Autodesk Revit, or even a character save file for the PC game Torchlight. Users frequently attempt to convert .SVT files when they need to extract digital certificate data for compliance audits, or when migrating 3D visual data to universal formats. The major disadvantage of the .SVT format is its lack of standardized native support. Because multiple applications claim the same extension, double-clicking the file usually results in an OS error. Proprietary game saves or hardware-specific themes (like Samsung video themes or Sony digital voice recordings) require the original hardware to decode properly and cannot be opened by standard web browsers. For the SQLite and JSON variants, the most practical conversion targets are CSV, JSON, or TXT. Converting a database to a flat text file allows the raw data to be read in any spreadsheet software, though relational table structures and encrypted blobs will be lost or unreadable. Game saves or voice recordings are typically locked down. Standard online converters almost always fail with .SVT files because they cannot guess which of the six different formats the file actually contains. Just drag and drop your file onto convert.guru to identify the format, view its internal structure, and convert it when possible. If our analysis detects an underlying SQLite database or embedded JSON text, viewing or conversion may still be possible without the original software.
Convert.Guru analyzes your SVT file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

The SVT Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our SVT converter.
