About SSH files
The .ssh file extension is primarily associated with multiple highly proprietary formats. It is most commonly deployed as a compiled game graphical asset or 3D model file by Electronic Arts (EA). Alternatively, it functions as an IP Office security settings file for Avaya communication systems, or an XML-based digital mixer show file for Soundcraft Si series consoles. These formats are heavily restricted by design. EA game assets are packed binaries, making them completely unreadable by standard 3D software. Users typically want to extract the 3D meshes to standard targets like OBJ or FBX, or edit mixer configurations as XML. However, standard online converters fail to process .ssh files because they lack the specific reverse-engineered decoders for these closed formats. Generally, only the original hardware software or community-made game modding tools can properly read or export the data. Despite these limits, convert.guru provides a realistic workaround. Just drag and drop your file to identify the format, view it, and convert it when possible. We inspect the file signature to show text or internal content. If our analysis detects a supported underlying structure - like the XML data in a Soundcraft show file - viewing or conversion may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your SSH file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

The SSH Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our SSH converter.
