Extract text from RBM files

RBM files are most frequently associated with Emerson AMS Machinery Manager, a specialized industrial platform used to diagnose and monitor the health of rotating machinery. These database files store vibration analysis data, spectral plots, and maintenance routes. The primary disadvantage of this format is its strict vendor lock-in; the data is encapsulated in a proprietary structure that typically requires a licensed installation of AMS Machinery Manager to view or interpret. Users often need to convert these files to CSV, XLSX, or PDF to share diagnostic reports with stakeholders who lack access to the Emerson ecosystem.
Alternatively, an .rbm file may be a 3D model archive used by the Avalanche Engine, powering games like Just Cause 3 and Mad Max. These files contain geometry, textures, and skeletal data packed for high-performance rendering. Modders and game artists often struggle to open these because they are binary-compiled assets not natively supported by standard tools like Blender or Autodesk Maya.
