Convert a file to TABLE
To convert other file formats to the "KNIME Data Table" file type, you need software like KNIME Analytics Platform or a similar tool.
About TABLE files
The .table file extension is highly fragmented, most commonly used by the KNIME Analytics Platform to store zipped data tables. It is also utilized for voice recognition keyword data in Microsoft Windows, thermal analysis in Netzsch Proteus, engine tuning data in TunerStudio, and database table definitions in the web2py framework.
Because there is no standard for this extension, you typically need the exact parent software to open it natively. The primary disadvantage of a .table file is this unpredictability. Without knowing its origin, you cannot easily view the data. Some files are ZIP archives, some are XML or JSON, and others are proprietary binary blobs. This makes data sharing and collaboration extremely difficult outside of the original ecosystem.
To make the data universally readable, extraction and conversion are mandatory. For spreadsheet analysis, convert the tabular data to CSV or XLSX. For web development or archiving, extract nested structures to JSON or XML.
Convert.Guru analyzes your TABLE file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert TABLE file to TEXT, MARKDOWN, JSON, DB, SQLITE, SQLITE3, MDB, ACCDB, DBF, ODB, FDB or GDB, you can use KNIME Analytics Platform or similar software from the "Data Table Storage" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert NDF, SQLITE3, BAK, RDB, SQL, DB4, MDF, MDB, LDF, DB, DB3 or SQLITE files to TABLE, try KNIME Analytics Platform or another comparable tool in the "Data Table Storage" category.
The TABLE Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our TABLE converter.
