About PJT files
The .pjt extension usually indicates a project save file created by the Intro Maker app on Android. These files are typically JSON-formatted text documents that store the settings of your video project - such as text overlays, sticker positions, and timeline data - rather than the actual video footage itself. Because of this, .pjt files cannot be opened or played in standard media players like VLC or Windows Media Player. To get a playable video, you must open the project inside the Intro Maker app and use the "Export" function to generate a standard MP4 file.
Alternatively, a .pjt file may be a Raster Image generated by older Olympus digital cameras. In this specific case, the file is often just a standard JPEG image with a non-standard extension used for thumbnails or internal camera management. These can frequently be opened simply by renaming the extension from .pjt to jpg, or by converting them to PNG or TIFF for broader compatibility. Legacy users might also encounter .pjt files as Memo files associated with Microsoft Visual FoxPro projects (linked to a pjx file) or Didger geoprocessing projects.
Convert.Guru analyzes your PJT file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert PJT file to DWG, DXF, DGN, RVT, RFA, SKP, 3DM, STEP, IGES, SAT, X_T or X_B, you can use Intro Maker or similar software from the "Video Project Settings" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert SLDASM, DGN, PRT, IAM, X_B, CATPRODUCT, SLDPRT, RVT, ASM, DWG, CATPART or DXF files to PJT, try Intro Maker or another comparable tool in the "Video Project Settings" category.
The PJT Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our PJT converter.
