Extract text from Wwise and Godot packages (PCK)

A .PCK file is a proprietary data archive or resource package primarily used in game development and software deployment. The two most prominent formats are the Wwise Audio Package by Audiokinetic and the Godot Engine Game Pack by Godot Engine. In Wwise, a .PCK file acts as a container for massive audio banks, bundling encoded proprietary game sound files (often WEM). In Godot, the file functions as a virtual filesystem that contains a compiled game's textures, scenes, scripts, and 3D models. It is also utilized by Microsoft for System Center Configuration Manager deployments and Oracle for PL/SQL package scripts.
Because these files are proprietary archives, they pose strict limitations for end-users. You cannot open or play a .PCK file directly in standard media players or image viewers. The contents are highly compressed, engine-specific, and deliberately obfuscated to prevent unauthorized asset extraction. This makes modding games, recovering lost source code, or extracting sound tracks exceptionally frustrating.
To use the internal files, you must unpack and convert the .PCK archive. For game audio, extract the tracks and convert them to WAV or OGG for standard listening and editing. For game assets, extract the Godot resources to standard formats like PNG or GLTF.
