About NDP files
An .ndp file typically functions as either a Net Deed Plotter property boundary file or a Previred Chilean payroll payment file. Net Deed Plotter uses this format to store metes and bounds data for real estate mapping, built using the .NET framework. In South America, institutions like Banco de Chile and Previred use .ndp files to process bulk payroll and social security payments. You need to convert .ndp files because they are highly proprietary and specialized. A deed file requires a paid license for Net Deed Plotter just to view or edit the property lines. Similarly, a Chilean payroll file is a rigid banking format that is useless outside of specific corporate banking portals. Neither format can be opened natively by web browsers, Microsoft Excel, or generic text editors. The best conversion targets depend entirely on the file's origin. Deed maps should be converted to PDF or DXF to easily share visual property lines with surveyors, title companies, or clients, though you will lose the interactive plotting data. Payroll data is best converted to CSV or XLSX for auditing in standard spreadsheet software. Because .ndp files are closed, proprietary formats serving niche industries, standard online converters consistently fail to process them.
