The .MSP file extension primarily represents a Windows Installer Patch, a distinct system file used to update applications previously installed via MSI (Windows Installer) packages. However, .MSP is also a legacy extension for Microsoft Paint bitmaps (often monochrome 1-bit images) and NIST Mass Spectral Library data files used in chemistry. If you are stuck with a legacy MSP image, it likely won't display in modern web browsers or photo viewers.
