Other less common uses for the .KF extension include exported animation data from Facebook KeyFrames (an Adobe After Effects plugin for mobile rendering) and temporary animation files generated by Apple Keynote.
The Gamebryo .KF format is highly proprietary, specialized, and notoriously difficult to handle. Because it only stores movement data and not the actual 3D mesh, a .KF file is completely useless without its corresponding NIF 3D model file.
