The .HKT file is a proprietary data container created by the Havok Physics Engine. It stores critical game physics, including rigid body dynamics, collision meshes, ragdoll animation setups, and scene data. Typically, these files are generated and managed using the Havok Content Tools suite, which integrates directly as plugins within professional 3D software like Autodesk 3ds Max or Autodesk Maya.
