Convert a file to HAT

To convert other file formats to the "Encrypted Tunnel Config" file type, you need software like HA Tunnel Plus or a similar tool.

About HAT files

The .HAT file extension primarily identifies an Encrypted Configuration File generated by HA Tunnel Plus, a tunneling application for Android used to secure connections and bypass network restrictions. These files act as containers for specific connection protocols, including TCP, SSL, and payload settings.

The Challenge: Users frequently encounter friction because .HAT files are proprietary and often password-protected or locked by the creator. This security prevents users from viewing the internal configuration (such as the payload or host), making it impossible to audit the settings or manually port them to other VPN tools like HTTP Injector (.EHI files). Additionally, since the software is Android-exclusive, .HAT files are functionally useless on Windows or macOS without complex emulation.

Conversion Solutions:

Convert.Guru analyzes your HAT file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted HA, EHI, DECRYPT, PDF, HC, TXT, PNG, JPG, BIN, APK and ZIP files.

The HAT Converter Story

The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our HAT converter.
