About GBI files

A .GBI file is a proprietary Disk Image created by gBurner. Think of it as a "super-ISO" file - it contains the exact replica of a CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disc, but with added features that standard ISO files lack, such as advanced compression, password encryption, and file splitting.

The main problem users face with .GBI files is vendor lock-in. Unlike standard ISOs, you cannot simply double-click to mount a .GBI file in Windows or macOS, and most third-party burning software (like Rufus or Etcher) cannot read them. This makes the file useless if you don't have the specific commercial software installed.

To make the file usable, you should convert it to a standard format:

Convert.Guru analyzes your GBI file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted GIB, JPG, BIN, EPS, UNKNOWN and AD1 files.
