The .FAC file extension is highly fragmented and serves multiple distinct purposes depending on the software that created it. Most commonly, it functions as an audio equalizer effect preset used by Razer Synapse and the F-Audio Controller app. In other environments, a .FAC file can be a facial composite image generated by FACES software, a user interface skin for the legacy eMule Plus P2P client, an Ecuadorian electronic invoice from the Datalogic FACILITO system, or a ZIP-compressed facilities management project for Archibus Facility Management.
